Wake up with delicious Khageena .. savory scrambled eggs

Maybe someday I travel to the great city of Hyderabad in India which is a foodies paradise . For the time being , I indulge in Khageena ,a delicious version of scrambled eggs for a perfect breakfast treat ! 

Serves 2


3 eggs

1tbsp oil 

1 onion,finely sliced 

1.5-tomatoes,finely chopped

1 green chilly,chopped

1/4 spoon turmeric powder 

1/4 tsp red chilly powder 

1/4 tsp ginger and garlic paste

1/2 tblsp butter

Salt to taste 

Coriander leaves,chopped for garnish 

Lemon wedge

To prepare:

1. Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions to golden brown.

2.Add the tomatoes,green chilies, red chilly powder, ginger-garlic paste and stir on a low flame .

3. Cook till tomatoes are softened and the liquid dries up .

4.Beat in the eggs and add with salty , butter and coriander leaves.

5.Scramble the eggs till done . 

6. Serve with lime wedge And kachumber, a mixture of finely chopped onions and tomatoes and green chillies, flavoured with lime juice and salt .
